Barranco del Inferno directions
Barranco del Inferno is a protected natural reserve. The Gorge of Hell walk passes through some very deep ravines and in fact starts in Adeje near what must be one of the deepest ravines in Tenerife. The area is a walkers deam where lush greenery can be seen next to an arid volcanic landscape. Barranco del Infierno has a waterfall fed by a stream which starts high up the mountains and meanders down to the coastal plain. Old Guanche burial caves are passed on route. The round trip takes approximately 3 hours.
